Throwback: The beginning of my design journey
Design
My passion for design began in 2013, sparking my curiosity about digital experiences and visual structure. As I explored design on my own, I realized I wanted to develop my skills further, leading me to pursue a NITEC in Social Media & Web Development at ITE.
There, I was introduced to the very basic design fundamentals—learning about layout, typography, and user experience. I became immersed in web applications and interface design, understanding how structure and functionality shape user interactions. Each project refined my skills, from wireframing to prototyping, reinforcing my passion for design.
This foundation not only deepened my understanding of the basic design principles but also fueled my drive to craft intuitive and engaging experiences.
This is our first assignment where we are tasked with designing a magazine cover, posters, and brand identity using web apps, applying fundamental design principles to create visually compelling and engaging layouts.

I had the opportunity to participate in the Adobe Certified Associate World Championship in 2014, hosted by Certiport, where I challenged myself among talented designers worldwide. This experience further fueled my passion and reinforced my commitment to mastering my craft. With endless motivation, I continue pushing boundaries, striving to grow as a creative and bring impactful designs to life.
With this impact, I decided to do more—exploring new design techniques, taking on challenging projects, and continuously refining my skills. Whether through competitions, collaborations, or personal projects, I remain dedicated to evolving as a designer and making meaningful visual experiences.
